Stefano Gugl, co-founder Wellyhas announced its proposed move of SHIB Welly-themed burger joint to the second-largest Arab economy, Dubai.
In a tweet, Stefano Gugl announced he was seeking partners or investors for a “game-changing fast food venture.” He added that the management of the store would be taken care of by the Welly team. Gugl further clarified that the move would not be a franchise but rather an opportunity to open a new store together under a new company.

Earlier in January, Gugl announced that Welly was looking for partners to bring the Welly experience to the people of New York City (NYC). This was while Welly was working on his worldwide expansion.
In February last year, Shiba Inu announced a partnership with Naples, Italy-based fast food burger restaurant Welly. Thanks to this collaboration, Welly carried out a full rebranding, using the Shiba Inu dog as the new mascot and adjusting the menu and marketing strategy.
Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, said in a blog post that the partnership strengthened Shib’s first steps into IRL (in real-life) projects. He stated that the Welly team is in discussions to release multiple stores this year, 2023. As announced, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is an in-store payment method.
The SHIB-themed burger joint also announced that the community behind the second-largest meme coin will have a 15% ownership interest in its business. Communities will be entitled to a share of the benefits of all activities.
Welly also announced that he would participate in burning SHIB a few months after the rebranding was carried out. In November, the fast food joint announced that Welly DOG (Decentralized Organizational Group) is now active.
