Protocol Mina has announced that it will offer zkIgite and Cohort 1 to helps users create decentralized applications. Likewise, both also offer users to revolutionize the way they interact with their data. ZkIgnite and Cohort 1 can be classified as A 3 month program specially made to help developers. It will also help entrepreneurs to convert them the idea of being a successful business in the Mina Protocol. For more user pleasure, approx $500k USDC and 500k MINA will be made available as part of the community based program. It will be very useful funded many of zkApp’s businesses which will pave the way for the Mina Protocol to move forward.
Mina Protocol states that it will offer users multiple challenges which include building a funding team etc. In addition, the user will be too challenged to come up with innovative ideas and put together some high quality proposals. Besides that, zkIgnite will be community-driven at every stage. That is why Mina Protocol is interested in introducing the Mina Innovation Platform. This can simply be defined as a a new space that will offer users the opportunity to collaborate. It will be easier for users to create teams and submit proposals for funding.
Other than that, all the team in Group 1 will form a team revolving around zkApp ideas for solving various real-world problems. However, teams will not be restricted under any circumstances. With that in mind, Mina did push the team to have at least 1-2 technical developers. There are no participant limits either as anyone can join.
Mina Protocol Ready to welcome new Builders
Mina previously introduced a quarterly grant program, and 2022 is considered a monumental year. This quarterly grant system has made a sizeable contribution to the Mina ecosystem. As a result, the Mina Protocol is prepares to renew its grant program for 2023. The main purpose of doing so is to stimulate the growth of several zkApps and developer tools.
Therefore, it is expected that Mina will do it immediately discontinue the quarterly grant program. Meotherwise, it will focus only on zkIgnite. On the other hand, Mina will continue to engage with core grants throughout 2023. That needs to be ensured active participation is needed, and there are still many projects to be seen through zkIgnite.
