Even delaying customer payments since December last year, the owner of Braiscompany found time and money in his schedule to sponsor a football match against the “Ronaldinho Gaúcho Selection”. The match will take place next Saturday (4) in the town of Limeira, in the interior of São Paulo, at 4pm.
The poster for the match places the five-time world champion alongside Antonio Neto Ais, the company’s creator. Tickets for a match between “Seleção Ronaldinho Gaúcho” and “Seleção Braiscompany” cost R$60 for a seat in the stands and R$120 for a seat in the prisoners’ seats. However, everyone who buys in advance has the right to pay half price.
The match was billed by organizers as the “Game of the Stars”, and said that “famous” singers and MCs would attend, but, apart from Ronaldinho, there was no information about former players and other personalities who would be participating.
This is not the first meeting between Neto Ais and Ronaldinho: in October 2022, the two played on the same team in a game and the owner of the company Brais recorded it in his videos and photos on Instagram. The businessman, who has been involved in the past with three companies that failed to win over customers, is avid playing games with former players. His social networks show him playing alongside stars like Romário, Falcão and D’Alessandro.
Furthermore, Neto Ais took a photo with Messi and Neymar and shared it throughout the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

In turn, Ronaldinho Gaúcho has a long history of involvement with suspicious companies, many of which involve cryptocurrencies. He promotes the Olymp Trade platform, banned by CVM; advertised the World Cup Inu (WCI), allegedly a World Cup cryptocurrency; acted in a commercial for the LBLV financial pyramid. The former player eventually became a defendant in a collective action against Ronaldinho’s 18k company.
Braiscompany delayed payments
Braiscompany, which claims to have a “crypto rental” business, has continuously delayed payments to customers since December, a scheme accused of being a financial pyramid by Tiago Reis, CEO of Suno Research.
According to the company, it will be the launch of the Brais App, which is scheduled to take place on December 28, leading to a delay in the first payments on December 20.
What stands out is the fact that Braiscompany does not use any internal apps or systems to pay customers. Instead, it sends supposed monthly profits directly to user-informed bitcoin wallets held on cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance.
The app didn’t even launch on the day it was scheduled — despite Braiscompany throwing a huge party for the event, splashed with champagne and live music — and remains offline to this day. At the get-together, the company also announced the creation of its own cryptocurrency, the Brais Token, whose launch date has yet to be announced.
Blame Binance
In a live broadcast held on January 9, Antonio Neto Ais, creator of Braiscompany, stated that the late payments that occurred with the company’s customers were the fault of cryptocurrency broker Binance. According to the businessman, the broker has put the brakes on the company’s withdrawal and liquidation.
“Braiscompany has been in a systemic lockdown from Binance since November. When he has a deposit request, he wants to know the origin of the money, he wants proof like a screenshot of the conversation. This goes against everything we advocate for decentralization,” said Neto Ais.
CVM received a formal complaint
The consequences appear to be coming for Braiscompany. On January 12, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) received a formal complaint against the company.
In a complaint filed by law firm Cardenas Torres Advocacia, CVM was provoked to investigate Braiscompany, arguing the company made an improper offer of securities in a collective investment agreement offer.
By engaging in this breach, the company would fall within the scope of autarchy measures, even if it describes its services as “leasing crypto assets” with the “primary aim of eliminating CVM competence”, according to the complaint signed by attorneys Pedro Torres and Hector Cardenas.
