ARK Head of Investment Management Cathie Wood makes bold predictions about the future of finance and technology.
Wood telling you His 1.5 million Twitter followers that once the Federal Reserve rolls around, a soaring economy reminiscent of the “Roaring Twenties” is likely to follow.
He said once the economy starts booming, blockchain technology, along with four other technological innovations, will come first.
“Today, five major innovation platforms are developing at the same time – multiomics, robotics, energy storage, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology, all converging! Tesla leads the ‘strike’ in three, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see four–five.
Once the Fed stops looking backwards on CPI inflation and starts tackling the deflationary banking crisis caused by short 19-fold interest rate hikes and upside yields, we won’t be surprised to see a return to the Roaring Twenties.”
Bitcoin bull too say the collapse of US banks demonstrated the benefits of cryptocurrencies. He said crypto remained stable and the network worked reliably during banking failures.
“While the US banking system is waking up in response to bank runs threatening regional banks, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other crypto networks are not missing a beat. Instability in the banking system threatens stablecoins, the path to DeFi [decentralized finance]a stark contrast to the rhetoric of the regulators.”
