What is auto completion?
Auto-settlement allows you to trade via RFQ OTC with the available balance in your Kraken account in three simple steps: request a quote, accept the offer, and confirm the trade. Starting from the initial quotation to the final completion in seconds.
What if I like the flex workaround I’m already using?
If you already enjoy access to flexible settlement – the ability to trade now and settle down later – there is nothing to change. Our one-to-one, person-to-person settlement experience and our team of global merchants remain at your service around the clock.
How can I start using auto-completion?
The client must first be integrated into the RFQ. Our OTC desk traders will work with you to assess your trading needs and determine the feasibility of a suitable settlement. Clients eligible for flexible settlement simply select one of the settlement options on the OTC portal before quoting.

Automatic RFQs
Our self-service RFQ allows you to generate your own instant trade quotes for $100K+ of any eligible crypto asset up to a maximum of $1 million (which can be increased on a case by case basis). New RFQ features include:
- Stablecoins trading: USDT/USD, USDT/EUR, USDC/USDT, USDC/USD, USDC/EUR
- Prices are available based on lot size or based on transaction amount in base currency
- “Maximum trade size” and “Maximum amount” per asset are displayed in the UI
- Indicative pricing for OTC clients without RFQ access
There is a maximum number of coins that can be purchased per trade. This maximum may vary and the current limit is always available in the FAQ of the OTC portal. While there is a per-trade maximum, an unlimited number of trades can be made. Eligible assets are shown below:
